How do I start my free trial?
Verify your email address in the app to unlock a free PRO trial. When the trial ends, your account simply returns to the free plan — nothing is charged automatically unless you choose to subscribe.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), so they're managed there:
- iOS: Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → Finance Ledger.
- Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Finance Ledger.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Sign in with the same account, then open the upgrade screen and tap Restore Purchases. Your PRO access is tied to your store account and will be recognized automatically.
How does receipt scanning work?
Tap the + button and choose Scan, then take or pick a photo of a receipt. Finance Ledger reads the total and date on your device and pre-fills a transaction for you to review before saving.
How do I share a budget with my family?
Create a family workspace in Settings and invite members with an invite code. Everyone in the workspace sees the shared accounts and transactions.
Is my data safe if my subscription ends?
Yes. Your data is never deleted because a subscription lapses — you keep access to your records on the free plan; some PRO features simply become unavailable until you resubscribe.
How do I export or delete my data?
PRO members can export reports from within the app. To request access, correction, or deletion of your data, email us at [email protected] and we'll take care of it.
